Why do girls cry more than boys?
I thought maybe girls had less physical ability than boys, or maybe the conventional patriarchal society was responsible for that. But after a little research I found out that there is a lot of great science behind it. That is what I am going to say now.
The first and biggest reason is that the tear duct of men is very deep and thick. A lot of tears may have accumulated there. As a result, if the lacrimal glands begin to produce tears after men become emotional, the entire duct will be filled first. Later, if it overflows, water will come out of the eyes. If the man can control his emotions before then he does not have to shed tears. And women's tears are thin and shallow so there may be less tears. As a result, it overflows very quickly. The bottom line is that crying is not as much time for a man to control his tears as it is for a woman.
There are some more hormonal reasons. The male sex hormone is testosterone. This hormone testosterone is thought to reduce the tendency to be emotional. Men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer have lower testosterone production. On average, men with this cancer become more emotional quickly than other men.
And most likely in 180 a group of scientists studied the chemical attachment of tears. Different types of tears, such as
tears that come out when crying, dust that comes out when there is dust in the eyes, water that comes out when you smile very loudly ... they do research on the chemical elements in all these types of water. That study found the presence of the hormone prolactin in the tears that come out during emotions. Crying is thought to be linked to the hormone prolactin. This prolactin hormone is again 80 percent higher in girls than in boys.
For these reasons, girls actually become more emotional than boys. So there is no point in boasting with the boys thinking "we can control our emotions. We are so great". Because we boys are biologically made that way.
