What is meant by ®, and?

Welcome our bloge

What is meant by ®, and?

As a normal person, I see these signs of Akshar but I don't understand what these things are. The ad shows, "Buy only after seeing this sign". But in rare cases we try to figure out what these things are. Today is the time to know about these.

Before going into this topic, you need to know what is Intellectual Property. In general, if we try to understand, it can be said that the resources that come from human intellect is called Intellectual Property. These assets are not like the assets we use in real life which are called intangible in English. Suppose you have a pen. That is definitely your property. Now suppose you write a story with that pen. So is this story your property? You say, yes. Because you created it with your talent. As such, it is your property. And this "story" is Intellectual Property.

Not all intellectual property is the same. This means that your "painted picture" and intellectual property, "again, the method of making an excellent food" is also a kind of intellectual property. But the two are not the same. There are different types of intellectual property around us. Notable among them are copyright, patent, trademark etc. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. Copyright, trademark, patent, etc.

If you don't know these things then you should be bored after reading this much. Because in short, what I said is like cooking meat without a little salt and oil. Just know exactly what intellectual property is. I will discuss more in depth somewhere else.

Now let's come to the answer to the question. চিহ্ন This symbol is used to denote copyright. Suppose you drew pictures, made songs, made videos, wrote books - all of which fall under copyright. If you are a copyright holder, then if someone else starts a business with the things you created without your permission, you can take legal action against the copyright holder.

Not to mention TM before talking about that sign. TM stands for Trademark. For example, Samsung's logo is a trademark. If you are a mobile manufacturer, you can't use that logo no matter what. Because this logo is Samsung's intellectual property. These trademarks are usually used on the back of a product. In this case, Samsung uses this trademark to differentiate its mobile from the mobiles of different companies.

® and a type of trademark where R means Registered. Trademarks that are registered with the trademark office, that is, the trademark office has allowed the applicant to use those trademarks, are denoted by that sign. E.g.

Dulal Bhar's palm candy. It is marked with. That means it is registered in the government office. Now you can't use that same name in your palm candy ad.

Only TM can be used until it is officially registered. Even though we have been talking about trademarks for so long, there is an object called service mark or SM. Trademarks are usually used to differentiate a product and a service mark is used to refer to a brand providing a service. For example

But it is not a product. Refers to restaurant service. So this is SM. Now that these two TM and SM are registered, the symbol can be used.

I tried to explain in a short range. So if you have trouble understanding somewhere, say it in the comments. I will try to explain.

Thanks, Mohammad Accessories
