Yes. Brain imagining on violent inmates in max security prisons who have been evaluated as psychopaths with the PCL-R show structural and functional brain differences.
Psychopaths were shown for example 3 different images:
A morally wrong one eG. People burning a cross.
A morally ambiguous one like a burning car with no other context.
A neutral one like a teenagers sitting around a bonfire.
The participants were asked to rate the images from morally wrong to ethical on a scale from 1-5 whole their brain activity was monitored.
It turns out that psychopaths and normal people rated the picutes similar in terms of right or wrong, but opposed to the control group, the psychopathic brain didn't light up when confronted with morally wrong cues.
This indicates a lack of conscience as well as that psychopaths can indeed know right from wrong, but are not concerned about it.
